2021 Summer Camp – FAQs and Updates
I APPLIED FOR CAMP, BUT HAVENT YET RECEIVED AN EMAIL CONFIRMING OUR SPOT
Because public health guidelines have not yet been determined for summer camps this year, we’ve made the decision to hold off on confirming camp placements until May 1st, 2021 when applications close. By that date, we hope to know more about guidelines relating to capacity and programming and will reach out between May 15-June 1 to confirm your place at camp. Payment details will be provided once application confirmations have been communicated.
IF IN-PERSON CAMP IS NOT POSSIBLE THIS YEAR, WILL MY APPLICATION CARRY FORWARD OR WILL I NEED TO RE-APPLY?
The application that is currently available is for in-person camp. If, as we get closer to your camp date, it’s determined by public health guidelines that in-person camp is not possible we’ll communicate all necessary information with you including how to register or apply for an alternative program(s) we’re able to offer in lieu.
AM I ABLE TO REGISTER MY CAMPER FOR MORE THAN ONE CAMP SESSION
Yes! You can apply for your camper to attend any camp for which they meet the criteria. While applying you’ll be prompted to indicate which camp is your #1 preference. We’ll try our hardest to place each camper in their preferred session, and once all campers are placed we’ll see where room exists to fulfill requests for additional sessions.
WHEN WILL WE FIND OUT ABOUT VIRTUAL VILLAGE 2021?
Our program team is busy preparing an extraordinary in-person summer camp experience for our campers, however, we understand that not all of our campers will be able to attend because of circumstances related to COVID-19. It’s always our intention to help our campers to connect year-round, and 2021 will be no exception. Once we know which virtual options will be available this spring and summer we’ll post that information here.
