Hosted by the Lifesaving Society of Nova Scotia, BrigaSwim is a COVID-safe event that took place between August 15-21 & raises money for Brigadoon Village.

Brigadoon Village is excited to present The 2020 Campfire Circle on hosted by our friends at A for Adventure with the support of Parks Canada with music by the Stan Rogers Folk Festival.

The world is changing and so are we. To support campers and families through the challenging days ahead,  donations from this event will ensure that campers and families continue to receive the program support they need on the other side of COVID-19. Giving extraordinary kids the chance to be ordinary!

With the difficult decision behind us to not run our traditional in-person summer camp programs, we are very excited to announce the details for our new online virtual camp program. While we know that it won’t be the same, we have been hard at work developing plans for how we can bring some of the magic of what we do at Brigadoon to our campers in their homes.

After postponing Wine & Dash in the spring we were hopeful to be able to hold an in person event this fall. After careful consideration with our presenting sponsor, Scotiabank as well as the other sponsors, we have made the decision to not move forward with Wine & Dash for 2020. Thank you for your support and commitment to Brigadoon Village.  We will drink and celebrate with friends again!

Canada’s largest pediatric illness camp program, Brigadoon Village, has just received the single biggest donation in its history. Long-time supporter, Around the Bend Foundation, has committed $1.7 million toward Brigadoon’s programs and improvements to its camp facilities in Aylesford Lake, Nova Scotia.

Brigadoon Village and our neighbour, 14 Bells Gallery, will be holding a Holiday Open House to celebrate the end of an incredible year at Brigadoon.

On Tuesday, August 27th, Brigadoon Village, along with family, volunteers, campers, and community leaders, gathered to announce the creation of Dave’s Place – a new arts centre at the camp that will celebrate and honour the memory of Brigadoon’s Founder and Visionary, Dave McKeage.
