Lindsay Construction Takes the Lead on the Wanderers’ Brigadoon Corner

Halifax, N.S. – Earlier this spring, the Halifax Wanderers Football Club and Brigadoon launched an exciting initiative to bring the magic of camp to the Wanderers Grounds. Today, Lindsay Construction announced its’ support as title sponsor of Brigadoon Corner – support that will ensure that extraordinary kids have the chance to be ordinary at Brigadoon Village.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to support Brigadoon as title sponsor of Brigadoon Corner,” says Lindsay Construction’s President and CEO, Cory Bell. “Our company’s values – building relationships, community, and the future – align with Brigadoon’s. For thousands of kids living with chronic illnesses, Brigadoon provides a place to build friendships, a place to belong, a place to escape the realities of their health conditions and dream of a bright future.”

“To say that Lindsay Construction has been a generous community supporter for more than six decades would be an understatement. So many charitable endeavours and non-profit programs and services in Atlantic Canada have been made possible thanks to the leadership of the company and its President and CEO, Cory Bell,” says David Graham, Brigadoon’s CEO. “We are so grateful for their continued interest and commitment as title sponsor of Brigadoon Corner.”

“This season we were excited to partner with an organization as vital to our community as Brigadoon Village and generate awareness for all the work they do in our province,” Halifax Wanderers President and Founder Derek Martin said. “We’re looking forward to adding Lindsay to Brigadoon Corner as we all work together to make our community stronger through sport and make Wanderers matches accessible to everyone.”

The 200-person Brigadoon Corner presented by Lindsay Construction at the Wanderers Grounds is providing Brigadoon Village with a way to bring its campers, their families, and their supporters together outside of the traditional camp environment. Brigadoon Corner will also allow the camp to raise awareness and funds to ensure no child is turned away from camp due to financial need.
