Camp Braveheart is the first overnight summer camp of its kind in Atlantic Canada for children and youth aged 7-18 living with congenital or acquired heart conditions.
Campers will take part in a wide range of camp activities, make meaningful connections with others, and build valuable skills which will help them to be successful outside of the camp environment, as well. During Camp Braveheart, we help campers to learn self-advocacy skills and to notice when they might need (breaks during periods of high activity, etc.). All of this takes place during a week full of exceptional fun!
This camp will take place at the same time as Camp Lots-a-Wata (kidney disease), Camp Trailblazers (craniofacial differences), and Camp Whatcha Say (deaf and hard of hearing).
Applications open: February 1, 2020
